1890 Club

 

The 1890 Club is the lifeblood of the Varsity Hockey Match. The continued support of the club is vital to the success of the fixture, and both the Old Men's Blues and Old Women's Blues continue to play fixtures prior to the main Varsity Matches.

Past Venues

 

The Men's Blues Varsity Hockey Match has been an annual event since the inaugural fixture in Oxford in 1890. The fixture has taken place at various venues across the South of England, including Lord's Cricket Ground, the National Hockey Stadium and Hurlingham Park.
